CLUB RULES AND DOCUMENTS

As radio control airplane pilots we have a responsibility to conduct our activities in a manner that will assure the safety of our airplanes, our fellow pilots, and the community in which we fly.  Four sets of documents are necessary to comply with AMA requirements and to meet the expectations of the City of Nacogdoches with respect to our continued ability and privilege to use the A.L. Mangham, Jr. Flying Site. Club members must become familiar with these documents.  Compliance is a requirement of membership and failure to do so may result in loss of flying privileges as well a loss of insurability in the event of an accident where rules were ignored or willfully violated.  Very little is new to the membership because these are the rules under which we have been successfully operating for the past several years as guests of the Airport.

The four documents are:
  1. Nacogdoches Aeromodelers Club - City of Nacogdoches A. L. Mangham, Jr. Regional Airport Flying Site Agreement dated March 2, 2011.
  2. Nacogdoches Aero Modelers Club By Laws Dated March 2011.
  3. Club Rules dated March 2017.
  4. AMA National Model Aircraft Safety Code.
Following are documents that define requirements for various activities:
  1. RC Pilot Solo Certification Requirements PSC Ver. 4.01.12
